Vintage Czech Pop Art Lips Bowl – Josef Hospodka for Chřibská (1960s)
Vintage from the Mid-20th Century – Rare Find – Collector’s Item

Origin:
Designed by celebrated Czech glass artist Josef Hospodka, this striking handblown art glass bowl was produced in the Chřibská glassworks during the 1960s in the former Czechoslovakia. Part of the Pop Art “Lips” Bowl series, it embodies the bold and organic design ethos of mid-century Bohemian crystal work.

Chřibská, established in 1414, is one of Europe’s oldest continuously operating glassworks. Hospodka served as chief designer from the 1950s–70s, creating fluid, sculptural forms that gained international recognition—most notably the Brussels 1958 and Montreal 1967 World Fairs.
