Every piece that passes through Baldhead World of Vintage is assessed by hand. Where restoration is needed, we work to preserve what makes it original — its patina, its maker's hand — while making it sound, safe, and ready for daily use.
What we restore
- Vintage lighting — rewiring, socket and switch replacement, shade and glass repair, brought up to current electrical safety standards.
- Furniture — structural repair, reupholstery, refinishing, and hardware replacement or fabrication.
- Ceramics & glass — cleaning, stabilization, and careful repair for chips, cracks, and losses.
- Metalwork — cleaning, re-patination, and repair for brass, bronze, and mixed-metal pieces.
